Please read these Terms and Conditions of the User Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms and Conditions”) before using the PDFStorm product. By accessing and using the PDFStorm Website, the PDFStorm online service, and by installing, launching, or using the PDFStorm Desktop software for Windows (collectively referred to as the “Service”), you agree to fully comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions, you must refrain from using the PDFStorm Service and uninstall the PDFStorm Desktop software if it has been installed on your device.

Terms of Use of the PDFStorm Service

The use of the PDFStorm Service is governed by these Terms and Conditions, which may apply to the Services of the PDFStorm service.

In accordance with these Terms and Conditions, you are entitled to:

  • use the PDFStorm Service for personal purposes;

  • reproduce any Information and Content available for download on the PDFStorm Website and/or as part of the PDFStorm site Services for personal purposes, provided that you undertake: (a) not to modify this Information or Content in any way; (b) not to remove or modify any copyright or trademark notices.

The limited rights specified above are the only rights you have regarding the PDFStorm Service, unless otherwise stated in this document, and accordingly, you are not permitted to modify, adapt, create derivative works, distribute, license, sell, transfer, display, perform, publish, or otherwise make publicly available any Information or Content obtained from the PDFStorm Service.

Illegal Use

You are prohibited from using the PDFStorm Service for any purposes that violate applicable local laws and/or these Terms and Conditions. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, it is prohibited to:

  • upload, post, or otherwise make available content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, violates privacy rights, promotes hatred or discrimination on racial, ethnic, or other grounds;

  • upload, post, or otherwise make available any information or content containing viruses, Trojan horses, worms, or other malicious software that may cause damage, destruction, interference with the operation of software and/or hardware, or limit its functionality;

  • use the PDFStorm website in any way that may cause damage, disruption, overloading, or impairment of the PDFStorm servers, networks, or connections;

  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to any of the PDFStorm site Services, computer systems, or networks connected to the PDFStorm servers through hacking, password cracking, or any other means;

Security

Files uploaded by users to the PDFStorm Service are automatically deleted from our servers 2 hours after task processing is completed, or you can delete them yourself by clicking a button. PDFStorm guarantees the confidentiality of your data.

PDFStorm Desktop Software

The PDFStorm product may include not only the website, the online service, and the functions provided through it, but also PDFStorm Desktop software for the Windows operating system, including installation files, executable files, update components, auxiliary modules, configuration files, documentation, and other related software components. These Terms and Conditions apply to such software, as well as to its updates, fixes, new versions, and additional components, unless separate terms of use are provided for a specific component.

By using, installing, or launching the PDFStorm software, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions to the same extent as they apply to the use of the PDFStorm Service. You may not modify, decompile, distribute, sell, transfer, lease, or otherwise use the PDFStorm software in any manner not permitted by these Terms and Conditions or applicable law.

SCS Analytics and Collection of Technical Data

PDFStorm may collect and process technical and usage analytics through the SCS analytics system in order to ensure the proper operation of the Service and PDFStorm software, improve functionality, analyze software installation, launch, update, and uninstallation, identify errors, prevent abuse, and assess the effectiveness of distribution channels.

Such data may include software installation, launch, update, and uninstallation events, error reports, response codes, timestamps, software version, operating system version, language settings, device and software environment parameters, installation identifiers, session identifiers, information about the installation source, distribution channel or advertising campaign, and other similar technical information.

PDFStorm does not use SCS analytics to access the contents of the user’s personal files, passwords, payment card details, personal documents, or messages. Data collected through SCS is processed in accordance with the PDFStorm Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Lack of Support

The PDFStorm Service does not undertake any obligation to publish, upload, or otherwise make available User Information. PDFStorm does not undertake to support in any way any User Information.

PDFStorm prohibits any violations or illegal actions on the PDFStorm Website and reserves the right to remove, without prior notice, any User Information or part thereof at its sole discretion.

PDFStorm is not responsible for the content of uploaded user information and files, or any part thereof, and under no circumstances shall be liable for any damage caused to users as a result of any use of User Information.

Links to Third-Party Sites

The PDFStorm Service may contain links to third-party websites. PDFStorm does not control third-party websites linked to on the PDFStorm Website, is not responsible for them, and does not in any way endorse the information, advertising, content, products, or services on third-party websites. Under no circumstances shall PDFStorm be liable for any damages or losses incurred by you in connection with the use of information, advertising, content, products, or services on third-party websites.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable local law, the PDFStorm Service, all information and content are provided "as is" and "as available". PDFStorm makes no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, non-infringement, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose.

If you are dissatisfied with the PDFStorm Service, the sole remedy shall be to discontinue using the PDFStorm Service.

Changes and Amendments

PDFStorm reserves the right, at any time and at its sole discretion, to make changes to these Terms and Conditions, discontinue providing any of the services of the PDFStorm Service, and/or remove any Information and Content. You agree to periodically check these Terms and Conditions for changes; if after such changes are made you continue to use the PDFStorm Service, this means that you accept and agree to all changes in these Terms and Conditions.
